/ 01 / About

What is BaD.

A program, not a class.

HBHS Business and Design is a four-year high school pathway that empowers the next generation of entrepreneurs and innovators. From freshman to senior year, students build, ship, and learn by doing.

  • Project-driven, not lecture-driven. Students learn algebra through photography, geometry through design, history through visual media.
  • Real briefs, real clients. Every senior has the opportunity to launch their own business and ship work people actually use.
  • One cohort, four years. The same students grow together from freshman foundations to senior capstone.
  • Built for them, by them. The studio, the systems, even the curriculum, all evolve from student work.
