Index/Advisors

Our BaD advisors.

Advisors are the working professionals who shape this program from the inside: people who design, build, and run companies, helping students do the same.

  • Industry mentors, not figureheads
  • Direct contact with teachers and students
  • Curriculum input where it counts
/ 01 / The Role

What it means to advise BaD.

In one page

An advisor sits inside the program, not next to it. The job is to push curriculum forward, host students in real environments, and translate industry shorthand into something a 16-year-old can use this week.

  • Design the path. Help shape curriculum so it stays current with the industry it claims to serve.
  • Open the door. Create networking opportunities, internships, and visits.
  • Speak from the room. Act as guest speakers and mentors, in person when possible.
  • Promote the future. Champion the ways of the future, not the past.
